Real jaggery is simply sugarcane juice, boiled down and set. No sulphur, no bleaching agent, no chemical clarifier — which is why ours is a natural golden brown rather than the suspiciously pale yellow you often see.

We work directly with a co-operative of cane farmers in western Maharashtra. The juice is clarified with natural plant extracts the way it has been done for generations, then dried and granulated so it pours and dissolves easily.

    Real gur, not bleached

    Proper dark golden colour, which is how you know there is no sulphur in it. Dissolves fast in tea. We have completely stopped buying white sugar.
